About d’Amico International Shipping

d’Amico International Shipping S.A. (DIS) is the d’Amico division operating in the Product Tanker sector, listed since 2007 on the Milan Stock Exchange. It has a modern fleet specialized in the transport of refined petroleum products, serving the main petroleum companies and trading companies. Endorsing MARPOL/IMO* regulations, the Company can also transport vegetable oil and other chemical products. The offices in strategic locations such as Dublin, London, Singapore and USA are testimony to its strong international connotations.

The origins of d’Amico Società di Navigazione S.p.A.

The history of d’Amico begins in the 1930s. Ciro Massimino d'Amico transforms the timber merchants business and moves into the services industry, transporting wood not by land but by sea to provide an easier route to emerging markets.
d’Amico Società di Navigazione is established in 1952, at the same time as Rome offices opening.

d'Amico increases the presence in the tankers sector and continues to consolidate its leadership.

Order of the first Medium Range tanker vessel, a sector which nowadays characterizes DIS activity.

Strategy of further expansion of the business with the opening of new offices and the order of new building vessels.

In 2007 d’Amico International Shipping S.A. is listed on the Milan Stock Exchange in the STAR segment

Strong growth strategy with a fleet renewal program with latest generation "Eco" design vessels.

d'Amico International Shipping anticipates international standards imposed on environmental and energy efficiency policy.
Between 2013 and 2019, it launches an extensive fleet renewal programme with vessels equipped with highly advanced technologies and strongly reduce environmental impact, thanks to a significant increase in efficiency.
